Dental Technician Assistant

4-year full-time study programme after the successful completion of which a Secondary School Leaving Exam (Maturita) Certificate is awarded

Characteristics

Graduates of this specialization are qualified for making dental dentures in dental laboratories in all types of medical institutions (both state and private). The programme is aimed at developing the career of Dental Technician Assistants; however the technical knowledge acquired can also be used in other fields, such as plastic surgery, otorhinolaryngology, in dental research, and in relevant fields of production and trade.

The studies may be divided into two parts – general and technical. Great attention is paid to the gaining of both technical knowledge as well as practical skills. Lessons in technical subjects are held in newly equipped dental laboratories and professional training takes place in different kinds of dental institutions.
